David Bowie is to release a digital EP of his 1969 Space Oddity release.

The Space Oddity Digital EP will contain four songs and when fans purchase them, they will also receive the original eight stems for free - allowing them to remix the songs using most digital music software or the iKlax software (www.iklaxmusic.com/davidbowie).

The four tracks are as follows:

Space Oddity (original UK mono single edit)
Space Oddity (US mono single edit)
Space Oddity (US stereo single edit)
Space Oddity (1979 re-record)

To find out more about Space Oddity's inspiration from Stanley Kubrick, and its significance in the first lunar landing in 1969, head over to davidbowie.com.

I'll avoid the Bowie contest. I hate contests in which you have to buy something first. It's lame.

Hey guys,

there's no contest... just get the song if you like it and get the stems for free, or don't. Why are you so concerned if you don't like it?

What are the prizes??? I see none listed, but would like to enter if they are worthwhile.
